Romanians have a long record of navigating through both good and bad times, surviving challenging historical conditions, and being a contributing part to neighboring civilizations, all while maintaining a strong sense of personal and unique cultural heritage and identity.
The Cismas Foundation will recognize and give due credit for Romanian achievements and contributions to civilization and society. It will promote mutual understanding and beneficial coexistence between many people. It will diffuse democratic values in harmony with cultural heritage, and strive to promote self-reliance and development of individuals’ talents and abilities. Last, but not least, the Cismas Foundation encourages giving back to the community for the less fortunate among us.
